The vines of our cellar are cultivated on three main types of soil:
• Villafranchienne Terrace: It is a floor made of rolled pebbles (quartz bring by the river), clay and/or sand.
This ground dating from the quaternary was the former Rhône’s bed, it gives a generous and spicy character to the wines produced there.

• Urgonians: White limestone slate soils from the tertiary era. This terroir brings a lot of finesse and fruit into the wines.

• Les Marnes: Soils consisting of a clay-limestone mixture with a good moisture content to resist the summer dryness and which gives round and gourmet wines.
